I'M AN ACTIVIST

I believe knowledge must inspire change, which is why most of my work transforms my research into activism and advocacy campaigns for feminist justice and digital human rights.
My areas of expertise revolves around tech-facilitated gender-based violence, online misogyny, tech governance and digital activism (see also: "Researcher" section). 
At the end of 2018, I became the promoter of the Italian campaign #intimitàviolata, which in 2019 led to the recognition of the crime of non-consensual sharing of intimate material ("revenge porn") in Italy. Over the years, I joined several international initiatives and campaigns against image-based sexual abuse (IBSA) and tech-facilitated gender-based violence, collaborating with global networks of survivors, national and international NGOs, and several foreign governmental institutions, such as the European Commission, the White House, the European Institute for Gender Equality and the Council of Europe, among others. 
In 2025, I was nominated as a Policy and Advocacy Champion by Refuge UK Tech Safety Awards.

WHAT I DO 

- I advise institutions, international organizations and selected companies on preventing and responding to cyberviolence, online safety risks, and platform governance challenges. My work includes policy development, risk assessment, and strategic guidance to support safer digital environments and responsible technology practices.

- I lead and contribute to high-impact research projects, producing reports, policy briefs, and publications that inform decision-making at institutional and international level. I translate complex evidence into actionable insights for policy, advocacy, and organizational strategy.

- I design and deliver high-level trainings, workshops, and courses for professionals, institutions, and organizations. My sessions focus on digital rights the social impact of technology, combining research with interactive formats.

- I speak at conferences, institutions, and international events, delivering keynotes and moderated discussions on digital rights, platform accountability, and feminist approaches to technology. 

- I collaborate on and support advocacy initiatives and campaigns advancing digital rights, gender equality, and accountability in technology. I contribute with strategic framing, research-based narratives, and public engagement to maximize impact and reach.

Hi! I am a researcher and activist in the field of data justice and digital human rights. My areas of expertise are privacy and intimacy, algorithmic discrimination, gender-based violence, online hate, digital activism and online sexualities and emotions. 
At the end of 2018, I became the promoter of the Italian campaign #intimitàviolata, which in 2019 led to the recognition of the crime of non-consensual sharing of intimate material (revenge porn) in Italy. After that, I joined several international initiatives against image-based sexual abuse (IBSA). Today, I work as the Head of Advocacy and Research at Cyber Rights Organization, and I am the co-founder of the Italian association Virgin & Martyr. 

WHAT I DO 

- I collaborate with schools, universities, NGOs, selected companies and international institutions and participate in events, conferences and festivals as a speaker or moderator, online and in-person.

- I write high-impact articles, dossiers and books and create online content (posts, videos, podcasts) to disseminate my value and mission.

- I teach workshops and interactive classes to create dialogues with young people and provide consultancies in the field of digital rights/gender-based violence.

- I think and develop political communication campaigns to promote digital human rights internationally.
